Israeli forces injure 12-year-old boy in Beit Ummar

The child was rushed to Alia Hospital in nearby Hebron city for medical treatment, where his condition was described as stable.

Israeli occupation forces today injured a 12-year-old Palestinian boy with gunfire in the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron in the south of the occupied West Bank, WAFA reports.

Mohammad Awad, a local activist who monitors Israeli human rights violations in the area, said that the child was hit with a rubber-coated steel round in the head by Israeli occupation soldiers while he was spending time with his family in a farm of theirs near the town.

The child was rushed to Alia Hospital in nearby Hebron city for medical treatment, where his condition was described as stable.

On Friday, a 13-year-old Palestinian boy was killed by Israeli occupation army during clashes in the village of Deir al-Hatab, in the occupied West Bank province of Nablus.
