IN PICTURES: London Activists Protest Against UK’s Complicity In Israeli War Crimes

Protesters gathered to highlight Britain’s “complicity in Israeli apartheid” through the government allowing Elbit to operate in the country.

Dozens of pro-Palestine activists protested in London on Saturday outside the headquarters of Elbit Systems, Israel’s biggest private arms firm in the country, calling for its immediate shutdown.

At least four activists were arrested after attempting to board up the London offices of the arms company and splattering red paint across the entrance. One of them had sustained bruises after being tackled to the ground by police officers.

Elbit Systems supplies around 85 percent of drones used by the Israeli occupation’s military, which are used in daily surveillance and attacks on Gaza.
